Teresa Mouga is a Senior Professor at the School of Tourism and Maritime Technology University of Leiria . Oeste, Portugal), and a member of MARE-University of Leiria . Oeste. She finished her Ph.D. in 1997, at the University of Coimbra, in Biology (Botany).
The research interests are in seaweeds ecology, growth, cultivation, and bioactivities.
At the present, she published 27 Web of Science scientific documents, 40 other publications – books, book chapters, other SCI papers, and meeting proceedings, besides many communications (oral and/or panel) in international scientific meetings.
She coordinated research national projects and participated in many other international and national projects (scientific and science dissemination).
